Google has rewarded India’sRony Das for identifying and reporting a problem in the AndroidForeground Services that hackers might easily exploit to gain access topersonal information. Das, who is from Assam,received $5,000 (about Rs 3.5 lakh) as a reward from Google forreporting the problem. Rony is a cyber security expert. In May of this year, hedisclosed the problem to Google after he ran into technical issues whilecreating an application for the Android platform.
